Dani Garcia our renowned Marbella chef, with deep Andalusian culinary roots, is one of the most important figures of the current European gastronomic scene and therefore boast not just one but two Michelin Stars.

His gastronomic concept is based on Andalucians tradition, from where he projects, through a playful sensibility and state of the art techniques, his contemporary avant-garde kitchen.

His greatest virtue is to experiment with the latest and riskiest techniques, whilst respecting the traditional flavor of the product, offering diners truly unique tastes and textures. Ha has the skills to find hidden paths between technical marvel and taste.

Born in Marbella in 1975, he began his studies at age 18 in the Hotel and Catering School “La Consula” in Malaga. His professional baptism was in 1986 at the Martin Berasategui restaurant in Lasarte. After training with the Basque restaurateur he was part of different restaurants in the province of Malaga until the opening of Calima in 2005.

Dani has since become the absolute referent of the avant-garde kitchen in Andalucia and also one of the prominent names of the contemporary cuisine in Spain. He currently heads the spectacular Dani Garcia Restaurant at the Hotel Puente Romano on the Marbella Golden Mile, and has achieved two Michelin stars, the trendy BIBO bistro and seafood heaven called LoBito de Mar.
