Not only can we offer the unique opportunity to buy a piece of art by Picasso created some 29 years after the artist had painted the worlds most expensive painting, but a stunning frontline beach Mansion is also included in the price.

"Nude, Green Leaves and Bust” - A painting that Picasso created in a single day in March 1932 became the most expensive work of art ever sold at auction in May 2010 at Christies at a price of $ 106.5 million dollars – the sale took just 8 minutes and went to an unidentified buyer.

Although paintings have been sold for higher prices privately, this was the record price for a painting sold at auction, however yesterday at Sotheby’s auction Edvard Munch’s “the Scream” was sold at an even higher price of just below $ 120 million dollars thus pushing Picasso to a second place.

Pablo Picasso has been estimated to have produced in the region of 50,000 works. These included paintings, sculptures, ceramics, drawings and prints and one of which is the breathtaking swimming pool in the gardens of a frontline beach Mansion named “El Martinete” which we currently are marketing for sale.

The artwork was a gift for his great friend the flamenco dancer Antonio Ruiz Soler known as Antonio el Bailarin who restyled the dance art and thus named his home after the Martinete – a gypsy style of music which was converted by him into the dance routine we currently see today.

Since his day the property has undergone significant refurbishment and today we are able to offer for sale an exceptional Patricier-style Mansion situated frontline to the beach just minutes walk to Puerto Banus with private access to the beach.

This impressive property boasts 1540 m2 of elegant accommodation with heigh ceilings throughout and a breathtaking entrance hall, formal drawing room, sitting room, dining room, morning room, indoor pool, bar & disco, guest villa, 2 staff cottages  -so in total 10 bedrooms. The 4600 m2 of manicured landscaped grounds surround the notorious outdoor heated swimming pool. The marketing price is € 18 million euros – which seems a reasonable price for a glorious piece of art by Picasso.
